Our small coffee roasting operation was born out of our love for coffee and the desire to connect with the community by providing freshly roasted specialty coffee.

At Striding Poet Coffee Roasters, we’re committed to breaking down barriers and making excellent coffee accessible to all, creating an inclusive and approachable experience, regardless of your coffee expertise.

While our primary focus is on serving the local community, our coffee is also available nationwide through convenient shipping options.

Why the name “Striding Poet”?

The name pays tribute to Eli’s late grandfather, Dr. Tom Padgett, a published poet, English professor, and lifelong literary enthusiast.

Dr. Padgett often combined his love of literature with his enjoyment of walking. He could be observed striding around the neighborhood while reading, hence the name “Striding Poet”.
